We Fall

In this life we fall. What is there to catch us is what matters. Is there anything to catch you; is there someone there to help you? Is there a way to get back to where you were? The things that are handed to us are normally wrapped in unfairness but we are told to play the cards no matter how crappy they are because we have no choice but to and we cannot ask for new cards, because this is not the way the game works. Is it possible that the deck is full of shitty cards and yo9u could pick as many as you want but you will never get to a place you want to be. Or could it be that the good cards are scattered in front of us along with some cruddy cards and that when they are picked up they seem too good to be true, so we put them back and giggle at our foolishness because we are used to the run down ones that se4em to make sense. It’s time to break the cycle of distrust of the cards we were dealt to this game of life, this cruel game that only the most selfish people seem to win at. It’s hard but the honest people can win too. Pick up the good cards and hold fast to them. You came across it because you deserve it. It was meant for you. If you cannot build from the one card, collect them, save them until something wonderful can manifest from what you’ve done. In the end falling will seem like something good because now you can pick up some more of those good cards that you walked past and get further than before. Make the bottom cushy for the next time you may lose you footing. Also when there is someone waiting for you at the top, it’s easier and you get there a lot faster. What will be done with this new knowledge? Will anything good come of it, or will it be tossed to the side like other miscellaneous things or put in a place to be seen and observed every day? You decide.

A cushioned fall is all that is asked for if a fall is necessary. “You have strayed off of your path, but you will find it soon.” “You are the light of my way.” When people are blindsided but what is to come next they miss what is happening now. Looking too far into the future will cause most people to fall much more often and harder than normal. Not to the bottom but on their face. On a path in the woods or on a broken sidewalk there is stumbling if the person walking is not paying attention to their footing. Trying to run is not possible. Being sure footed is the best way to move, but when your eyes are to the sky and your head is in the clouds this will not be possible. Sometimes slow and steady isn’t just for the tortoise but for those that have learned to move too quick and at a whim. They have more bruises than needed. A stumble every once in a while is good to help one keep in mind to watch their steps a little more carefully next time. But it is worth it in the end. When looking too far ahead nothing good will come of it. That is when a map is needed. You find your destination on the map and work towards it. You know which way you are headed and where you want to go, you just have to take the time to get there. Then there are those people that do not want a map and would be much happier wandering aimlessly and happily. They find wonder in not knowing where they are going and taking the time to stop every so often to enjoy what is now. Living in the moment is their way of life and for them it is happy but everyone on this large blue and green rock is different and has a different way of going through life. As humans we are only supposed to see but a few steps in front of us. Seeing too far into our own futures will cause mayhem. We can have a lantern to show us how to walk so we don’t destroy our lives without warning. Think about what matters to you and focus on that if you find no reason to continue. And you would like to quit or give up.
