Today I read the obituary for common sense. It’s very sad but makes sense on how diluted and small minded this world has become. When practicing good hygiene becomes means for suspension, or a playground crush is turned into a civil lawsuit, or when having a child in class means raising them and teaching the things that should be learned at home. What has happened to our minds when these things are okay? Can we resurrect common sense and restore it back to its old self and bring our economy and each other back to a sound mind? How far-fetched this seems is baffling to the most of us. Think about your childhood and the silly little games that were played outside on playgrounds, and in the yard. Think about how different that play has changed and how the things that happen can be taken to court. Tap is taken as sexual harassment or unwanted touching. Hide and seek is an invasion of privacy and space. Why are we taking away our children’s innocence by nip picking at every little thing and turning it into adult games? Let children be children and have that special innocence that make them a child. Because once that innocence is gone, it’s gone forever. Stop trying to sue everyone for the things you should have been paying attention to or should have not taken so deeply into meaning. Do not force views on a child that they cannot properly understand them.
